Project: Bad Dogs
Bad Dogs
centers around visits to my childhood home-turned-junkyard over the past decade. Through collaborative portraiture and assemblage, I navigate family history, hoarding disorder, and my relationship with my father. This practice has become a shared creative language that allows my dad and me to communicate through objects that might otherwise be barriers. It transforms a stagnant space into one of connection and care. This body of work reflects our commitment to, and belief in, each other. I share this project to celebrate our evolving relationship, to recognize the restorative power of art-making, and to honor what we continue to build.
